About this report
The FY2024 Annual Audit Report was presented to Parliament on 28th August 2025. The Office audited the State financial statements and reviewed major areas of public financial management, issuing a qualified audit opinion for the year ended 31st December 2024.
The report highlights weaknesses in budget documentation, revenue reconciliation, expenditure classification, procurement and internal controls, and sets out recommendations intended to improve compliance, accuracy, transparency and responsible management of public resources.
