Auditor General of Hirshabelle State
Ahmed Sheikh Nur Edle serves as Auditor General of Hirshabelle State. He was appointed on 16th October 2024 by the President of Hirshabelle State. Public reporting of the appointment records a direction to accelerate and organise the work entrusted to the Office and strengthen delivery of its public-audit responsibilities.
As Auditor General, he provides strategic leadership for independent external audit of government accounts, public expenditure and public institutions. On 22nd January 2025, Ahmed Sheikh Nur Edle signed the 2025–2027 Collaboration Framework linking the Federal Office of the Auditor General with Federal Member State audit offices.
