About this report
The FY2022 Annual Audit Report was formally submitted to the Speaker of the Hirshabelle State Parliament on 10th December 2023. It reports on audits of State financial statements, Ministries, Departments, Agencies and other publicly funded institutions for the year ended 31st December 2022.
The Office issued a qualified opinion. Significant matters include weaknesses in revenue accounting, unsupported expenditure and deficiencies in financial controls. The report records findings, conclusions and recommendations intended to strengthen accountability, transparency and management of public resources.
