On 22nd January 2025, Ahmed Sheikh Nur Edle, Auditor General of Hirshabelle, signed the 2025–2027 Collaboration Framework between the Office of the Auditor General of the Federal Republic of Somalia and the Offices of the Auditors General of the Federal Member States.
The framework provides a formal basis for cooperation, professional exchange and annual engagement between Somalia’s public audit institutions. It is intended to strengthen common audit practice, coordination and institutional learning across the federal system.
The signed document lists Ahmed Sheikh Nur Edle among the authorised Federal Member State Auditor General signatories.
