The Jubbaland State Civil Service Commission is an independent and impartial public institution mandated to oversee and regulate civil service recruitment and human resource management across government institutions. The Commission was established through a Presidential Decree in January 2015 and formalised in February 2015. It is responsible for ensuring that public employment processes are transparent, merit-based, and conducted in accordance with established policies and regulations.<\/p>

Headquartered in Kismayo, the Interim Capital City of Jubbaland State of Somalia, the Commission operates within the executive branch of government and is directly accountable to the Office of the President, while maintaining operational independence in the execution of its mandate.<\/p>
